Canada 2008

Nick, Dad and I went on a week long trip to Quetico, Canada. We left Thursday afternoon, July 3. It was a 20 hour bus trip, over two days. We spent the night at a Church near Detroit, Thursday night. Friday we stayed at another church in Canada. A Canadian Scout Master visited with us. We traded Boy Scout patches. For dinner, we ended up at a Chinese restaurant. Our outfitter was based in Atikokan, about 1500 people live there.

We paddled into a headwind, with 2 ft. swells to go visit this waterfall. We climbed to the top and went swimming/wading.
